David moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado in the fall of 1980, from a small town in Oklahoma. Prior to moving, he graduated from a private Oklahoma university with a Business and Law Pre-degree. David began his career in the auto business during his college years, becoming the #1 Nissan salesman in Oklahoma the year before he moved to Colorado. He opened his first independent car company, Executive Auto, in December of 1983, which he sold in 1986. He opened the doors to The Car Show, Inc., September 1, 1987. With a straight forward approach, David commits himself to his customers' best interests. He and his wife Kate strive to create a fun, family atmosphere for all at the dealership - relaxed, yet professional. David gives back to the industry by serving on the Colorado Independent Auto Dealers' Association (CIADA) board.

As a Central California native, Kate didn't move to Colorado until 1981. The next year, she met David Unruh while helping her mom look for a vehicle. After a summer full of country dancing, motorcycling, and jeeping, she was hooked. They married December of 1982, and 25 years later, they have two sons in college and are still having fun and working together. As to her position at The Car Show, she jokingly refers to herself as "Chief Gopher"! In her spare time, Kate enjoys playing the piano in a worship team at Church and singing with her sisters, as well as a local choral group.

Originally from Minnesota, Jerry has lived in Colorado Springs, CO, since 1969. Jerry has been in the automotive industry for over 20 years, making a successful career for himself. Outside of work, he has continued to stay active in the sports he loves, participating in the 1983 World Curling Championship, as a curler on the USA World Curling team. Jerry enjoys skating as a member of the local Inline Hockey team, as well as taking long rides on his Harley and camping with his wife and daughter as often as time permits.

Formerly a native of Houston Texas, Ken has resided in Colorado Springs, CO, for the past 18 years, with his wife and children. Ken has cultivated an outstanding career in the automotive industry over the past 17 years. When he is not working, Ken loves to ride his Harley Davidson, play baseball and go camping with his family.

While living in his hometown of Ironwood Michigan, John started his career in the automotive industry as an automotive mechanic. John advanced to the status of "Master Technician" in 1989. He was also recognized as a Gold Level Sales Associate, as his career progressed into the field of automotive sales. His free time is dedicated to his wife and children. Frequent rides on his Harley Davidson, spending time with his family, and working on home improvements are some of his favorite pastimes.

Mark has lived in Colorado Springs for over 30 years.  Although he's been in the auto industry for 20 years, he has enjoyed integrating into the RV business with the rest of team, helping folks find the perfect fit for Colorado camping fun!  Time away from work will find him spending time with his family, most often at hockey events and tournaments - where he and his wife watch their son shine!

Christy is a rare Colorado native. Joining the Car Show family in early 2006, she has drawn on her many years in the industry (and her love of fast cars) to contribute wonderfully to the team. Her busy days include everything from service tickets to titles, etc, etc..! Many evenings and weekends you can find her with family..."kickin' it" at a local Karate studio! (Add body guard to that list)

Barry was born and raised in Northern California. He moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado after he joined the U.S. Army and has been here ever since. Barry is an ASE Master automotive technician who enjoys working on his '74 Chevy Nova drag race car. He has been with the Car Show team since early 2006. His positive attitude and eager spirit has made him a valuable asset to the service department.

Mark is a Colorado Springs native and does his best to take full advantage of our beautiful state. He is an avid outdoors enthusiast, enjoying mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, fishing and backpacking! Whew!! (However, his true passion is performance tuning of European cars.) Mark brings over 15 plus years in the automotive business to the Car Show team, most of which includes a parts emphasis. Mark is your "go-to guy" for your service appointments and parts needs.

Mario has made Colorado Springs his home for nearly twenty years. Since joining The Car Show in mid 2005, his many talents have added a new dimension to the service department. Mario is an exceptional and innovative RV technician with extensive knowledge in vehicle mechanics. This guy can fix just about anything!

Although originally from Illinois, Don has lived in a variety of places around the United States, moving to Colorado with his family many years back. Quite a gifted service tech, he brought his talents to work with David at his first dealership, Executive Auto, in the mid-eighties, and shortly after The Car Show opened, he came aboard again. An amazing "Jack of all trades," he stepped right into the addition of RVs, adding expert RV tech to his many abilities. Having been with the company and helping David for over 17 years, he is far more than a employee - he has become a trusted and valued friend.

Victor is a second generation guy at The Car Show, Inc.
Vic began his Car Show career at the request of his dad, who was working at the dealership at the time. He is one of the best additions to the Car Show family - willing to do anything that's needed, always a smile on his face, encouraging those around him, and singing his way through it all.

The newest member of our crew was born and raised in Southern California, moving to Colorado Springs in 1997.
He brings 7 years of RV tech experience to our team as well a readiness for learning all things new!  In his free time he loves to play in football and softball leagues and his favorite sport - paintball!  We're really glad to have Jason on our team.

Maggie frequently can be seen around The Car Show digs - eager for greets and treats!  She can't cook, but she'll always clean up after the crew...table scraps, that is!
